About Us

Tae Kwon Do College- Capitol Hill is led by Master Gutman. 
Master Gutman started martial arts training early on. Six years of Judo were followed by four years of Tae Kwon Do before Master Gutman met her teacher, Grandmaster M.P. Kim, of Fairfax, Va.
She studied with him for the next fifteen years, after he founded the U.S.Tae Kwon Do College chain of schools in Northern Virginia. During this time she was head instructor at the Fairfax location, as well as running programs at several public, private, charter, and Catholic elementary schools in Virginia and on Capitol Hill. Master Gutman holds 1st Degree through 7th Degree Black Belt certificates from the Ku Ki Won, the World Governing Body of Tae Kwon Do, located in Seoul, Korea. She is proficient in weapons, Hap Ki Do, and many advanced Tae Kwon Do forms. She also attained a Masters’ Degree in Education.
